With 20 years of experience supporting business objectives within organizations, Joe Compagno oversees Sales, Consulting, Project and Service Delivery, and Customer Marketing efforts for Cayden Security. Prior to his role Joe held various positions within Prevalent Inc.
Joe’s insight is not only based on experience in a multitude of industries at various leadership levels, it is also supported by the attainment of his MBA, PMP and Shared Assessments CTPRP, as well as a commitment to lifelong learning.
Vice President of Sales, Managed Services
John joined Prevalent’s sales force in 2004 as a self-motivated Account Manager. His diligent work ethic and “get the job done” attitude has earned him the title of Cayden Security’s Vice President of Sales in April of 2011. John’s 20 years of dynamic technology leadership has served him and Cayden Security well. His background includes experience in many industries such as; banking, retail and telecommunication. As a former IT manager and a proven sales leader, John understands our client’s challenges and is able to leverage that perspective to create solutions optimized for meeting critical objectives.
While in the role of Vice President of Sales and mentor to our sales force, John will ensure that our team can understand your needs and respond with the agility required to meet the ever-changing demands of today’s business landscape. He continues to demand excellence not only from himself but from his team, this coupled with his knowledge of today’s security & compliance challenges, offers a winning combination for Cayden Security and clients alike.
Vice President of Sales, Security Solutions
Brian Okun is Cayden Security’s Vice President of Sales. He is responsible for managing a team of high profile business development executives who uncover opportunities for Cayden Security solutions around information security, risk and compliance. He furthermore works closely with the Marketing Department as it relates to activities that drive prospects to his team. Mr. Okun began his career working for ComputerLand in 1987. He previously served in various roles at several solution provider organizations including ComputerLand Corporate and MicroAge InfoSystems Services.
Brian currently serves on the North American Partner Advisory Council for Symantec Corporation and is active with The Association for Information Technology (AITP)’s Long Island Chapter Planning Committee. He previously held positions on Compaq Computer’s Reseller Advisory Board during it’s acquisition by Hewlett Packard, CRN’s Editorial Advisory Board, the CMP XChange Conference Series Alumni Advisory Board, Ingram Micro’s Service Network Advisory Board, and Ingram Micro’s VTN Marketing Sub-Committee.
He is credited with garnering several accolades for previous employer’s including: ranking on the Inc500 list of fastest growing privately held firms in North America and placement among the Top 25 Rising Stars by CMP Media’s CRN Magazine. He was personally recognized by Long Island Business News as a member of the 40 under 40 Class of 2004.
Mr. Okun is actively involved with the community including serving as President of the Board for Merrick Jewish Centre, the UJA-Fed NY’s Connections Steering Committee and the Long Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty for Children – the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.
Director of Security, Managed Services
Justin has over 13 years of experience managing business technology risk for both large and small organizations. Formerly he worked as the Manager of Enterprise Security and Risk Management at a shared services company supporting a global insurance group, in the Information Protection Unit of a Fortune 200 energy company and in security and compliance at a regional transmission organization. In the variety of roles he has served in across heavily regulated industries, Justin has successfully developed and maintained IT Security: policies and procedures, oversight and controls, strategy, architecture, development and training. Justin joined Prevalent Security Solutions to build out the security for Cayden Security’s service offering, design Energy Industry vertical solutions and to assist clients in their most critical IT Security and GRC needs.
PMO and Service Delivery
As a results-focused Service Delivery leader, Joe leverages a broad range of competencies in Project Management, Customer Engagements, Relationship Management, and Operational Services Delivery. Prior to joining Cayden Security, Joe has held Senior Service Delivery positions, driving implementation and project management success through execution against business plans, customer retention, aligning to strategic business goals and opportunities.
Bridget, the newest member of the Cayden Security family, is responsible for all aspects of brand, product, and sales marketing. Prior to venturing into the cybersecurity industry, Bridget spent 10+ years in television and digital advertising. Prior to becoming a B2B marketer, Bridget performed planning and account management roles at various organizations on both the agency and vendor side. Bridget is a graduate of Hofstra University’s School of Communication.
